Cedar Beam School adheres to the Nigerian Basic Education Curriculum (NBEC) as it relates to the elementary school level (year 1 – year 5). The school enriches the curriculum with emphasis on literacy Numeracy, Personal Skills, Knowledge and understanding of the word of God and extra-curricular activities.

  • Curriculum: We administer a well-blended Curriculum which exposes the kids to world class information using electronic gadget like computer and TV set. Our teachers source content from the internet, make them into slide for kids to view on the TV set in each class. We are raising High Tech kids ready to take on digital world,
  • We are in computer age. All subject is well taught using appropriate teaching aids both real object and posters. Cedar Beam School since inception, have a special method and teaching & learning which is peculiar to the school. It enables kids to have deep understanding and thorough compression of content.
  • Pupils use laminated work sheet called practice manual. Repented practice ensure retention as children learn through repetition. There is a fun dimension to learning using our practice manual, they are worked on using colorful, nontoxic water-soluble marker, pencils are not use often.
  • We all know pencils are boring and riskier in handily for kids. They are excited to write with makers because of the attractive colours. Learning is fun at Cedar Beam School. Pupils work as a team or in groups with their teachers during Art and Craft session to decorate their classrooms. The school is decorated using craft made by pupils during Christmas and other events. Classrooms and school environment are colourful and inspiring.  No dull moment at CBS. Languages taught are English (phonetic) French and Yoruba. We hope to start Chinese soonest.  China’s kids are already learning our local languages (Igbo & Yoruba) China and Nigeria has diplomatic relationship, especially for economic advantages but Countries have very large population.
  • Extra Curriculum Activities: The school is on point with vocational and entrepreneurship training which include dress making, fashion designing, hair dressing and barbing, shoe and bag making, robotic and artificial intelligent. We believe in catching them young.
